This is my friends '76 wagon. She lives in Arizona and could not find any one to fix her Pinto. she loves it and wants it put back together. Oh, and I did. New suspension front and rear (including new rear springs. My specially designed R134a A/C system, remanufactured seat belts (ssnake-oyl) rebuilt engine, T5 trans, repaired electrical, and... all new interior. She is picking her up on the 10th. I cannot wait to see her face.
Take a look... make a note of the interior.

WOW! I'm guarantee-ing she will be MORE than pleased when she sees it! That looks like it was a lot of work, and that's a HUGE understatement! Very nice work!
Dorcas is one lucky lady! Her wagon is a gem among gems! She's got a great friend in Alberto!
Good God, that's the kind of example I am modeling my own wagon after. Unbelieveable. A REAL piece of art, NICE work!!!!
Chris
WOW!!! THAT IS FANTASTIC!!!! The caps were used to simulate my reaction had I seen it in person. That is a thing of total beauty. You have done a great job, showcasing how great the interiors can look with time, effort & of course, money.
your work is amazing as always i expected alot from you previous projects and was not let down in any way.

NICEEE 8) 8) I wish I a friend to help me....
Me too... if just to get mine running!
that not fixing
thats art work
what did u put on the floor boards?
I'd like to know more about your specially designed AC system.
Well thanks you guys! I'll let the crasftsman that did the work know that his art was loved! I know that every time I look at what he has done it blows me away.
dholvrsn, The basic part of the AC system is a modern rotary compressor paired to a manifold type condensor designed for R134a. This system will blow ice cold at idle...all the while taking about 5 horses, er, Pinto's, from the engine. I have done this conversion on my '79 V6, my sisters '78 2.3 and this '76 wagon. As I type, I am helping RacerX install AC in his Purple Pinto. It will be done by Concours d'Lemons.
I am intrigued.. Could this setup be installed on a Pinto that is currently without A/C & if so what would be involved?
Yes, you will need all teh bracketry from a modern 2.3 Mustand or Ranger and then the old dealer underdash unit that the non-factory cars had. Then you need an A/C shop to make some lines and you are done. That is exactly what I did on my sisters 78 pinto and what RacerX is doing to his '79.
Sweet! That will be something for later on down the road, like after the car runs lol.
has she seen the car yet? if she has im sure she died and went to heaven. it looks absolutely wonderful
