Here are some pictures from the paint bay.... this is going great so far!
shes beautiful.. wonderful color.
That looks really nice. I always liked the green with the wood sides.
VERY nice!!! The Pinto Squire my family had back in the day was dark green... always liked that color with the wood appliques. Keep up the good work!

Greetings! Thanks for the very kind comments - I am getting very excited about this whole project... more so with the positive feedback :amazed:
I got the "wood" siding in from JC Whitney, and plan to put it on in the coming month (have to rough the sides first)... but I am very nervous about it - the paint looks so fresh that it almost seems a shame to cover any of it! But this car was to be original... and that's the way I am going (except for the very few under-hood mods). I have the build sheet, the dealer sticker, and a stack of records on this one - it's a keeper.
Always on the lookout for a set of GOOD spoke wheels... I think that would definitely look appropriate!
Thanks again for the kind comments!

hey is there a lead on finding the light colored wood grian for the trim?
HA! I was going to ask you...! I haven't really figured that one out yet, but my plan is to find a guy who does custom sign making, and see if he has something that will work, or if he can famricate it on his big "cricut" machine. I'll let you know how it goes - please let me know if you figure something out too!
Thanks, Tom
