I did search, and I think the answer is no, but thought I would give it another shot.
I had decided to keep the 4 lugs instead of converting over to 5 lugs. Then I get offered this 4.6L mod motor for free. I think the stock brakes are not going to be able to handle things now.
Would like to go to around 11 inch rotors, since I will be using 15 inch wheels.
Or should I just break  down and convert to 5 lugs? Even if there are Granada 4 lug disc brakes, if I am going to have to convert anything I might as well just do it right and go 5 lugs. But am hoping that there is something that will work with the 4 lug. :lost:
Seeing as I have already gotten rid of the 67 Mustang 8 inch rear I had I am pretty sure of the answer. :(
Thanks,
Russ
I have been searching for this also and have found nothing available yet. I like some of the Fox Mustang wheel styles (plus I already have them).
I have been looking at the Turbocoupe rotors (similar to 87-93 Mustang GT), again because I have them. They use the same bearings as the late Pinto but the distance between the bearings is shorter on the Fox rotors. I was wondering if adding a spacer behind inner bear cup could be used to fit the Pinto spindle. This is a planned future R&D project dream.
I've daydreamed about chuckinging those bigger five lug rotors on my rotary table and redrilling them for four holes.
I would think 4 lug Granada rotors with GM metric calipers are what you are after.
I have read about those rotors here, but not many people seem to think they are for real. But I will see what I can come up with searching car parts sites. :-)
If they do exist, would I need to do the same things that are needed for the 5 lug Granada swap?
Thanks,
Russ
From what I understand Granada rotors use Pinto bearings & fit Pinto spindles 74-up. They are 11" & there are adapters to bolt on GM Metric calipers. Ive seen complete kits on Ebay for street rod use but they are 5 lug.
Ive never made the swap but I was looking into it before I found 9" 5-lug rotors cheap.
Granada up to '79 are 11.03" but 5 lug. '80 and up are 4 lug but 10.08" (Pinto are 9.3")

Don't know if the later spindles interchange......
That matches what I have found out. I hadn't even realised that the Granada was still being built in the 80's.
But for the slight change in size, it won't be worth the effort to me. I will just have to go with the 5 lug setup. Good thing I haven't bought any expensive wheels yet. I don't mind eating the $40 I paid for the 15inch Mustang 4 lug wheels, but much more and i would be crying.

I have been running organic pads and am as underwhelmed as everyone else with them. I have both semi-metallics and ceramics coming this week and will be testing them to see if I can get an acceptable brake from them without resorting to brake/hub/wheel swaps.
80 an up granadas are fox platform cars which is why they are 4 lug and they prolly arent a direct fit options like the older rotors are.
Bigger brakes also mean going to bigger wheels in many cases.

Semi-mets are great but its easy to glaze the rotors after a couple hot panic stops. Ceramics produce a REDICULOUS amount of brake dust.

That's why I have both coming in. I'm looking for the best compromise between performance and maintenance. All I know is that organics just aren't cutting it.....
Does anyone know where I can get rotors for '72 pinto? HELLLPP!
The rotor assy is a Raybestos 6022R (others manufacturers are available). Googled it and found it for $98ea at JC Whitney, and $118 at Rockauto.
Pricey, but Google is your friend.
