Title: Help!! fuel gauge & sending unit.

My Pinto has a custom built fuel tank, and it has a GM sending unit in it. It reads backwards on the Ford gauge. When the tank is full, the gauge reads empty and vise versa.
How do I fix this??...I tried switching the two wires around, but it does'nt work...so what do I do to fix it??

2 ways to fix it either run a GM gauge or a ford sending unit.

JC Whitney has an adjustable 1 for $23.00 6" to 24" depth tank.  Fred   :)
