Title: platform?

Was there any official Ford Motor Company designation for the platform shared by Pinto, Mustang II, and Bobcat? Any other cars use this platform?

Project Phoenix.

Nothing else shares the platform.  platform shares lots with the fox.

That recent  pic of the asian pinto left me to wonder.  it looks factory. the roofline is totally pinto but the front clip sure isn't . the pre repaint pics make it appear to be steel not glass and  about the same age as the rest of the car. which incidentally judging from the interior pic was a bit more 80's and modern than the pinto. yet still looking made that way. (this could just be a tribute to a very skilled builder who created the project but...)  left me to think what we might find for an offshore built subcompact that shares a whole lotta bloodline with our little horse.   And wouldn't it be cool to find something that might share front clip dimensions.

My 2 cents.   Canadian.
