the driver side on my 78 is sagging on the rear due to worn leafs. i was thinking of pulling a pair from one of the mustang 2's At the junk yard.

why buy a used set when you can find new ones or have them made at a fair price, its worth the investment. i had a set made for my bobcat 5 years ago

Cause I can't afford that right now, but I can buy a set of used leafs at the junk yard cheap.

dave your best bet to find out would be to measure the leafs from eye hole to eye hole.
Then measure the placment of the spring perch in relation of the eye holes.
Also measure the widths of the eye holes to make sure they will fit in the hangers on the pinto.

If all the measurements are the same from the pinto to the MII or atleast really close they should work.

Dave,
Have you gotten an answer yet? I have the set from the II I had, still attached to the rear end sitting in my garage if you need the measurements, but I seem to recall either here or on a II site that the II springs are longer. But can't say for sure.
Let me know if you need the measurements.
