:lost:I just bought a 75 runabout and I am in love. First car I had when i was a teen. put around 1200 in engine repairs, and yes, I rebuilt the carb over the last to days and all that is needed is body and paint and a radio. WHICH is why I'm here today. I have no idea how to put the radio I have in it. Old tape style radio (in tune with 1975) just not sure about wiring...Any help?
There is a speaker in the dash with a plug to the radio? and there`s a plug for power on the instrument cluster side just below the heater bezel under the dash best seen with the radio bezel removedit is a 2 wire plug one wire has a blue stripe... if these plugs dont match your radio tap into them by finding a male plug off someone on the site with a old radio and get them to cut if off ....Otp #2.or wire it to the fuse box and run new speaker wires ...also if it has a antenna the plug for that will be there to it runs along the bottom of the dash on plastic clips..............just under the bottom lip.....
