Hey all, thought I would ask the ones who know in here before I go tapping into all the wires on my light switch. what colour is the wire that will control the dimmer settings on the light switch wiring? I need to tap into it for my gauges to work at night. or wht is the best arrangement for tapping into it?
I am wiring the lights on gauges to a glass fuse block and dedicating one fuse to the gauges.
thanks
cheers
According to the 78 EVTM, the wire from the headlight switch dimmer output is light blue with a red tracer. This color is maintained through the fuse block #11 and on to all the instrument/dash lights.
Oldkayacker is correct. The easiest place to tap into that wire is usually at the radio.
