Anyone know if they make urethane motor mounts or am i stuck with stock rubber ones?
Im starting on the 2.3t swap soon and once its together i dont wanna be pulling it back apart to change stuff like this.
Talked to my local parts store they said they carry solid motor mounts for my bobcat.
Anyone tryed solid mounts with there 2.3?
What is your local parts store name?
Thanks,
Russ

ya thats what i thought but they say they are supposed to be solid maybe its a generic picture because it does say solid even on the site
Solid rubber maybe?
Solid vs. liquid?
:-)

sorry, bad humor, bad day at work so far.
I dunno i figure ill make them order both in so i can look at them haha then the ones i dont want they can send back or watever. Either way my original ones are toast so im gunna buy new ill just pick the stiffer of the 2 kinds and tell ya how it goes. LOL
I'm betting they mean solid rubber. When I had my nitrous injected 2.0 I kept ripping the driver side mount in two, I finally put a turnbuckle over to the frame!!
i really wish somone like chuck made pinto urethane mounts! :(
Guess i could always make my own solid mounts but im betting that would do horendus things to the front subframe on a hard launch since itll be a lil bit before i cage it or add subframe connectors LOL prolly just get the rubber ones and call it good for now at 12 bucks each its not like its gunna matter if they break LOL
