Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has made their own indash radio/stereo holder? The car that we are building is missing the radio holder parts, (all that is there is the huge hole where the radio should be) and I was wondering if anyone has built their own custom holder that fits snuggly into the dash.... if you have built one up could you please post a few pics of your work? And also does anyone know if all of them are the same size? i have a 77/78 3 door runabout. (I am thinking about building a custom one and need insights)
thanks muchly
The radio in my 78 sedan is screwed to a block of wood, which is then bolted to the dash from the bottom. It works, doesn't move around, and I never have to look at the wood, so I don't mind! :)
Thanks for the info dave, and I seen the pics you posted on the other thread, thanks!
All radio face plates fit but the 77- 80 plates are plastic, and the early years steel..
