 ;D Hello all,

My wife and I just joined. We currently have a 77 Pinto, 34K miles with an 86 T/C engine, and a 1978, 65K miles, 2.3, all stock, big glass rear, sport mirrors and the stallion package. Way too many details for now. Anyway, we got into the Pinto thing by accident. I was racing at a local track, and my neighbor asked me if I wanted a free car. I said yes, then found out what it was. A 79 Pinto 2.3 4spd, 79k. The car was his wife's, and it had been parked at her parents place, in the woods, for over 10 years. The doors and quarters were rotted, and the rest of the car was a mouse nest. I rebuilt the carb, put in a clutch, and cage, off to the races. In the second season with it, I was spun, hit, and rolled. End of that car for the track( I autocrossed it after), but because of it. I was given 2 parts Pintos, and a line on a 3rd. The 3rd is our 77, it had 32k on it, new batt. and radiator and got a very good deal. Way too nice to race, so I figured I would put a v8 in it. Found most of the MII v8 stuff, but went with the T/C engine. We were able to install the t/c engine, and fit it under the stock hood without altering the hood using all Ford parts. We love the sleeper look. Just got the 78 a few months ago. It was going to be a parts donor for the 77, but my Connie wanted to keep it. We are known as 77pinto on another site, and saw a link that 78pinto had there(thanks). I have done quite a bit of tweeking on these cars, and I like to share any and all info I have. Will try to post some pics soon.

Cool cars. I also have an 86 Tc motor. Did the hood close without any mods
to motor? What did you use for a wiring harness
