Wow! That's what brownie needs! :)
That looks like a pretty wild product - would be great if it actually works!

Wonder what it costs? Do you have to take car to a dealer or can you by the "stuff" and do it yourself?
you have to get it done at a xkote dealer and it`s a 1/4 the price of a paint job and IT WORKS

1/4 the price of what kind of paint job? My father-in-law got his Buick Century station wagon painted at Maaco for $600. I had my '79 Lincoln repainted and it cost $4000 five years ago! I think the product is fascinating and I'm actually thinking of looking into doing it on my newly acquired Lincoln Mark VIII if there is a vendor anywhere close to me. I bought this Lincoln to drive so if I repainted it, I probably wouldn't want to spend more than $1500 on a driver quality paint job. If I could do this for $375 (1/4 of $1500), I'd definitely be interested. Otherwise, I'll probably have it professionally touched up and then buff and wax.

I'm going to check into it, but I'm a long way from British Columbia... I'm in Virginia. Probably no dealer close by. :(

The last paint job I had done was over 9K. I dont think Id spend 2500 to fix old paint.
I dont think it works like that,,,, if you spend 10,000 on paint,,, its not 3. 333.33 dolars to xkote it,,,, theres a base price for size of car or truck ect...
Id give um 1/4 of the price of what the last paint job i payed for LOL it was only 250 bucks.
Buts thats just cause i bought some nason and did everything myself on a S10.

I'm sure you're right. My point, and Pinto5.0's, is that there are all kinds of paint jobs in all kinds of price ranges. On my Mark VIII, once it has had a good buffing and waxing it probably won't need anything done to the paint at all, but it IS fifteen years old and it IS the original paint. If the results were truly as amazing as in the photos, I'd be willing to spend $300 - 500 to spruce the car up while retaining the original paint. That would be comparable to what it would cost me to repaint the car if I did the work myself, which is always an option too. I haven't called that number yet, but I intend to check it out.

I guess New Jersey would be doable... Tulsa or Vegas, not so much! I'll have to check out
where in NJ and see how much they'd want to do a Lincoln Mark VIII. Interesting concept.
