Title: Arggghhh! No Pinto classification on EBAY!!!!
Post by: beicholz on May 19, 2010, 06:02:56 AM
  Am I the only one who has noticed that there's no Pinto option in the used car section of EBAY?   You have to search for the word Pinto.   While this is not that difficult, I can't help but think that a nicely worded letter from each of us to EBAY would get Pinto on the pull-down menu list...and that once on the list, more folks would search for Pintos.

Any thoughts out there?

If they had a classification for every type of vehicle they'd have a ton of them. They just go with whats popular and then take a dump on the rest of us....i'm just saying...lol

Who says Pintos aren't popular? ;)

Actually, they have classifications for many "unpopular" cars.

It's because Pintos account for a ridiculously small percentage of the Ford vehicles listed.  Out of the current 6876 used Fords on eBay, only 1 is a Pinto... that amounts to less than .015%.  Unfortunately, I think it will always fall into the "other" category.

I'm gonna try anyway.   It costs EBAY nothing to do this...and there are usually way more than 1 at a time.   More typical is 5 - 10.
