Does anyone know of another oil port on the 2.3 that I could use for an oil pressure sender instead of the one the factory uses?
OK, let me clarify somewhat. I'm currently using the port on the rear of the head on the driver side. I understand there is one about 4" above the pan close to the oil filter. Any help, please.
I don't have a 2.3 block handy to look at but I don't think so. The 2.0 sender is in the block near the oil filter.
Whats wrong with the one at the back of the head?
RSM, it's a long story. PO swapped the Pinto engine into an early Jeep CJ-5 and instead of doing it right he cut a hole in the firewall and the engine actually sets back to far. I've managed to fab a cover for the rear of the engine but the oil pressure sender is presenting a problem. That is why I was looking for another port.
