Well today when i was standing outside waiting for some watersealer to dry on a sheet of plywood.... I went and was looking at my bobcats trim not a big fan of chrome debating painting it all black.
But on to the real question after staring at it for prolly 30 minutes i notice the trim right at the top of the door by the mirror is bent in like a half tear drop shape like its supposed to go around the mirror or sumthing or is that bent spot not supposed to be there? Only reason im wondering is the fact of the mirror base doesnt even fit the shape of the bent spot on the trim.
Also is the trim at the bottom of the windsheild able to be removed and left off without looking like crap?
the door molding is factory bent or by some strange incident we both have a dent in the same place. the molding has clips under it with tabs holding the clip try taking it off and see how you like it.

The trim on the top of the door skin is supposed to be bent to "conform" to the mirror base. No, it does not fit snug around the mirror.
My wagon has it like that, the two sets I've pulled and have in storage are like that, and the 78 I have been pulling parts off of is like that.
