Title: I made it 500k miles

On Feb 25 2010 my baby hit the 500,000 mile mark.It did take 3 motors however.His original motor went 212k before being pulled because of piston slap.The next motor died at around 60k due to a spun rod bearing.His last motor is still going strong at around 240k but is starting to show its age so I am building the 4th motor now.
we have put alot of work into the car over the last year and I hope to get some pics posted after the weather changes.

OK let's see pix of this wonder car. I better find evidence that it's indeed a he. Silly wabbit! Cars are girls!  ;D   Except for The General Lee and KITT.  Oh never mind. I do not I REPEAT DO NOT!!!!!!!!  want to see dingleberries hung on the car's bumper or tow hitch.  That's just wrong!

thats awesome earthquake, mine is just over 540k and she still runs. only had to replace the block when we got her back in 87. =)

Got to ride in Doc's car a couple years back and I was really impressed by the power, glad to hear she's gonna be on the road again.

When is the opening nite for the cruise-in at you local drive in

Manual trans -Male automatic trans-female.This year they are having an orphan and discontinued show,rite up our alley.I'll get the date and time posted soon.It would be nice to see how many cars we could get out there.So far mine is the only pinto to ever show.

No way! Ruby RedHot is a GIRL! So is my Green Meanie! Then, so are Wildfire and Rodeo Girl, and they're automatics... ::)

I'm with you Blu... I haven't named my Pinto yet, but when I do she'll definitely have a female name, manual transmission and all!
