can someone tell what is the name of part that goes around the headlight?
looks like is made out of cast aluminum in front of the fenders.

headlight bezel? or headlight trim ring? would be my best guesses

If it's painted it's a headlight bezel. If it looks chromey it's a headlight trim ring, like Tim said. ;D

My Chilton's guide calls it a headlight cover or door.
