Greetings central US Pinto enthusiasts. I am attending the 2010 Route 66 Blowout in my new home town, Sapupla, OK, just down Route 66 a bit from Tulsa (to the SW).
I just relocated here last year in time to see this show, didn't get in it. It is a nice, well attended show. Not placing it up as a sanctioned Central Regional Meet, as I thought others had interest in the region for this year.
If you are close and can make it, I would love to have a few buds displaying with me. You can check out the registration at this site:

Stay in touch, hope to see some of you.
Dave
Just wanted to report this was a nice show this year. There were 252 cars showing, and of course only 1 Pinto! I will get a few pictures posted soon.

Dave,
Knowing firsthand what nice Pintos you have, you should have made sure there was more than one there!
Dwayne
Here are a few pics...
And a few more. Geraldine cleaned up real nice
This is the first show I have participated in in almost 2 years. Cars have been in storage, I moved, but they are all at home now. It was very therapeudic getting her ready for the show, getting there and spending the day talking 'Pinto', as most of you can attest to!
Dave,
Geraldine may have aged two years since I saw her, but she's just as gorgeous as ever!
Dwayne
Car looks great, must have got a lot of attention! :D
Must have been nice! I haven't been to any shows yet this year, not enough around here in Boise. :( Can't wait until July though, I'm driving to a town on the other side of the valley for southern idaho's larges show of the year.
Thanks for the nice words Dwayne!
Dave, I did get lots of comments, as a Pinto always does. I lost count of the number of people who said it was 'the best car at the show'. It is not the prettiest car, not the most expensive, not worth the most money, but it does touch the heart of almost everyone who looks at it. That is what is so much fun having a Pinto at a car show. Good luck next month at the southern Idaho show, take some pictures and share!
