Title: Power steering problem

Is there an any way to get the hoses for a Fomoco rack and pinion to fit on a TRW rack and Pinion? Thanks!

Might want to have new hoses made up by a hydraulic shop. That's what I had to do for mine when I added power steering. They can reproduce your hoses with the right fittings.

The fitting on the return line is 1/4" pipe thread. The fitting in the rack seems to be 5/16?  :cheesy_n: ???

More stuff as it develops... maybe.....

I can't be sure. I remember that they were different sizes, but I'm not sure if they are standard pipe thread sizes. I remember I couldn't find any nipples for the return line at a regular hardware store, but the hose shop I went to was able to match the threads with a gauge.
