Title: brake fluid retainer
Post by: Honchoman on January 24, 2005, 07:19:30 PM
i checked my brake fluid yesterday in my car, and when i unsnapped the clip, it broke. there is hardly any (just some on the floor under the hatch; it leaks like a cive), but the whole outside of the master cylinder is covered in rust.  anyway, the only other one i had was from a junked AMC Eagle, but it was a little too long, so i tried to bend it to take up slome slack, but it was brittle and broke, too. none of the junkyards around here have any pintos, bobcats or mustang IIs, so does anyone know what else will fit?       also, can anyone tell me what a stock '74 2.0 redlines at?

I bought a chrome lid for my car and it came with a clip. Maybe you will just need to have more " shiney" stuff on you car..... ;D. A 74 2.0 would red line at around 6k.( in my car).
