Spotted this car on the 'Bay, (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-Ford-Pinto-Wagon_W0QQitemZ110521643429QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item19bb9a71a5) and am intrigued by the wheels. Are those '86-ish phone-dial Mustang wheels that have been painted? And if so, do they fit on Pintos without modification?
They are called Mustang 10 hole wheels. They came standard on all 85-86 Mustang GT's and LX 5.0 and all lx 5.0's from 87 thru 90. I kind of like what he did with them.
I do, too. I'm wondering if I should go looking for a set for my Pinto, or if that's getting into a bunch of spacer/spindle craziness that'll be more of a headache than it's worth...
they are a direct bolt on no spacers
I have a set on my 1972. Fit fine. No mods, no rubbing. The fronts are 205/65 15, the rears are 215/60 15. Mine were polished by a friend and sure make the look of the car. You can see them in my post pic. I also have an extra set that need cleaned up. If interested, let me know. I am located near Detroit.

I'm just outside of Detroit, in Wayne, and I would be interested! What did you want to get for them?
