Does any one know the 77/78 grill color ? Mine is pretty good , but has a few spot where the paint got knocked off.My main car color is G1.Did not know if there was a code for the grille.
From my 78 Brochure, every car has a silver grill. However, there are no shots of the cruising wagons from the front. I would assume it would remain silver, but I can't be 100% positive.
it is silver. But I wanted to know the correct silver to repaint it
Flash,
You want dull aluminum to duplicate original.
Check Lowes/Menards or corvettecental.com item#102011.

I believe the correct color is call argent silver? I will have to find the can. Anyway, I bought a can (spray paint) about 2-3 years ago from my local ford dealer. It was about $15 if I remember correctly. I have used it to restore grille's and sport horn centers. It seems to match to me.
let me know I want it as close to orignal as possible!
