I think I got a problem on the carb on my car. It's a 78 Runabout 2.3 and right now I'm having to drive it since my Kia is without brakes... Anyways the car will start after pumping the pedal twice like it should, but when I start it the car wants to die until it's warmeds up a bit, then it idles high.
I know nothing about carberators so I'm confused on what to check... Ideas?? ??? ???
Has the car always idled high? Did the car run fine before and out of now where this started?
It has always done it, atleast since I have bought the car. I checked all my vacuum lines & they are all connected, except the vacuum advance on the distributor. Could that have something to do with it? If so where does it connect to?
