Title: steering column replacement

I am going to replace the entire steering column with steering wheel in my 75 with a column from a 77.  As I understand it you have to disconnect at the base of the steering column, the electrical connections and the support under the dash.

any other thoughts, i have not done this on a Pinto be fore...

That is about it other than removing the four nuts that hold the column up.
