Hey everybody! Im i need of advise. My 77C/W won't run except when the key is in the crank or start position. I recently replaced the selenoid with one I had laying around. The only thing that Ivee done to the car is put a stereo in it but have driven it since.Any ideas? I will appreciate any help. Thanks TJ
Control module or ignition switch?
My guess is ignition switch. The starter solenoid supplies 12 volts to the coil during cranking, but cuts off when the ign switch is in the on position.
Thanks for the help. Now I'll get out this weekend and check out the problem. I'll let you,all know what I figure out. Thanks TJ
