HI my names Tim. Well im not new to pintos had my first when i was 15 was blue v6 auto hatch back. Im 22 now and today i just bought a 78 mercury bobcat 2.3 with a c3 auto oh and its a glass back. Well my plans for the car are to take my 88 turbocoupe apart and put the turboed 2.3 into it wire it for efi and a t5 maybe even the 8.8 with disc brakes and pretty much completly rebuild it from the ground up with new parts. Car is super clean has 1 rust hole in the entire car its in the drivers floor and is about the size of the tip of my pinky other then that its great. Gunna try to get some pics up soon of my new baby. I love this car already. Hope to talk to alot of ya soon. And i actually have a question too on the hot pants kit would that work on my 78 bobcat? Im not sure if fenders or sumthing might be different i know the front grill and taillights are.

My first car was my 78 Sedan! I started working on it and rebuilding the motor when I was 14, been driving it since I got my driver's license when I was 19! I'm 22 now, will be 23 in August!

Glad I'm not one of the youngest (if not THE youngest) member here anymore! ;) :D
