Post by: OhSix9 on March 24, 2010, 05:09:27 PM
can someone slide under and measure the driveshaft center to center on the u joints.  i need a length measurement, shortening the original shaft 1 inch as suggested is not feasible since the original has long sine been file 13'd

well have your tried the stock shaft out of a fox body mustang. Mine may be different since i have a V8 with home made motor mounts. I have a T5 and a 8inch rear and the fox body shaft fit perfect u joints and all. Would be worth a try anyway, i am leaning toward, it fits.  :D

I used the original and had it shortened and balanced, David says I'm going to twist it like a pretzel when I bolt on the slicks... :P
