I answered a craigslist add for 2 tires for my Dually. went to pick them up and saw a stack of aluminum slots in his building. took a look and could tell they were Pinto Or Mustang II . asked if he wanted to sell.. he said yes 100.00.. offered 80.00 .. guy said sure.. was almost done loading the dually tires and the slmn slots and he walked over with a box and said here these to go with the wheels,.. a set of 4 center caps.. whee.. shouls have them on by end of week.. got a new set of 185 70r13 tires to go on them.... roy

Hmmm.... what was I thinking lol... I was thinking that I liked the look of wheel covers better than the wheels. My parts car had steel wheels & my current Pinto had the alloys. I took the steel wheels and put them on my car, then had the parts car hauled away with the alloys. My dad even asked me what was I thinking, and he doesn't care one way or the other on Pintos.

I'm kind of the same way. I'm partial to the dog dish/beauty ring look with white walls. I would take that any day over the fanciest of wheels... but that's just me ::)

Hey, my buddy has about ten sets of those along with lots of Pinto bumpers (early 71-73 style) and grilles, headlight buckets, and lots of other Pinto parts.
He wants to get rid of the stuff, but I dont know any prices yet.
