Title: About to get started
Post by: Emmymau on March 19, 2010, 05:56:10 AM
My '73 Squire was rescued from the crusher in a junkyard in Arizona.  Planning to start in on it this summer, with the hope of eventually turning her back into a daily driver and roadtripper.

She's still sitting on what appear to be 1970s-era bias-ply tires.  Three of them still hold air!   :hypno:

I'm hoping there's somewhere to get the wood paneling from.  The trim is intact, but someone replaced the wood applique with brown house paint!  It's not obvious from the photos, but looks pretty sad close up.

You might want to check out www.woodgrain4wagons.com (http://www.woodgrain4wagons.com).  They probably have what you need!

This stuff works really well and unless you are a die hard purist, you cant really tell it's not NOS  ;D  Plus it holds up pretty good as long as you take care of it

Cool, thanks!  Is that your Pinto in your avatar?  If so, where did you get those seats?  They're gorgeous!
