So I see alot of 4bbl intakes for the 2.0, will these intakes work on the 2.3?
NO. Not even close.
So then does anybody have 1 they want to sell for a 2.3 or know where I might be able to locate 1?
Thanks, Tink
while I don't claim to be an expert on this... from all I have seen, read and heard...
If you want to get more power out of the stock 2.3L...
adding a 4bbl on it's own really doesn't help much. If you really want to see the added performance you have to consider, bore the block and oversized pistons, shave the head then add cam and adjustable cam gear + a header. Adding just 1 performance part doesn't do much, have to "work" it all. I have a "built" 2.3L sitting on an engine stand w/the above described specs and from what I understand and been told I can maybe expect 110-120hp or about the same feel for power as a V6 and I expect the gas milage for the above engine to be terrible....
What he said! :drunk: Cookieboy hit it on the nose, or you could go the turbo route. plenty of people have done those.
