Would it hurt anything to not run the oil filler hose to the intake? The stock intake is so ulgy Im wanting to go with a different set up. Thanks
I would say that you technically CAN run it without the hose. See if you can find one of those oil filler caps that some of the older chevy truck motors used. They are a tall round cap but the filter material is built into the cap instead of having a hollow cap and having the hose run from the cap to the filter element in the air cleaner. Just put a rubber plug in the air cleaner to keep the appearance nice and clean! You can find those air filter rubber plugs at junk yards from nearly any 70's (some early 80's) ford cars.

In that stream, you will see my info on modifying just that very PCV system you are referring to. I have run mine this way for probably 100,000 miles with no ill affects.
In this case, my vote is NO. Don't run with the hose.....
