im swaping the 2.3l in my pinto to a 2.3l out of a 93 mustang and the new mustang 2.3l needs an electric fuel pump...what i need help finding out is how much psi. the stock pump was pushing so i can find a good replacement pump.....and also what am i suposed to do with the return line to the tank????

i am using the stock pinto carb and intake system....the new 2.3l does not have the lobe for the stock fuel pump that is why i need the stock pinto fuel line psi. spec. so i can buy a maching electronic one..... :)

the stang would have a 88lph pump factory.. i used the pinto lines on mine the large one to feed and the small vent line for the return.... where the vent line goes into the top of the tank , remove that fitting and look inside the spot where the hose connects to it... it is a very smalll hole.... drill this hole out to the inside diameter of the metal tube section and then i just drilled a hole in the gas cap to vent the system.. without a vent it will vapor lock..
