Where can I find windshield molding for my 80? Ive been looking but no luck please help. Thanks

Is it the chrome trim you are talking about? Im looking for the black molding/seal

The 79 and 80 do not have a rubber gasket.They are sealed with black gummy rubber that goes between the windshield and the metal lip of the windshield opening .You should be able to get some from NAPA or a similar store.I hope this is helpful to you.

Well what do you think was used in the above pic? Will other years work? Or am I stuck with the chrome molding? (sorry but I dont like it)

I know this is factory but what is in place of the chrome molding?

I have chrome.  If you want black then I would sandblast your existing moldings and paint them black.

I have a set or chrome ones too off a 79.If you already have them id paint them too.There is a Pinto Rallye in a junk yard by me, not sure if it still has the moldings.

Here is a pic I took of the junkyard Rallye.It looks to be missing the driver's side molding.Also as you can see the black paint is peeling off the molding.So if its black molding you want, Paint It !
