My stock radiator doesn't cool well when pulling a long grade so I'm looking for suggestions & pictures. I would like to use an aluminum radiator if possible without cutting the body or supports. I also cannot install it in the other side of the supports as it will interfere with my intercooler. Are there factory options? I know the factory A/C model is larger is there a v-8 Mustang II bolt in? All help is welcome. Thanks.
The Aluminum radiator I am using in My Pangra works well as a stock replacement. It fits on the correct side and as the same inlet outlet sides as the Pinto. Its classified as a GM model but the size fits nice.
Is this a model specific radiator? Your pictures have the cover over the top so it's hard to see & you have the different, older core support but that might not be an issue. I've seen the ebay under 200.00 specials and I've been thinking about trying one. I've got to be carefull how thick also as there's not much room even using the thinest Spal fan.
