After 3 attempts, I finally have Bella's (74 Squire) paperwork heading to DMV's Headquarters!!! ;D The first trip I forgot the verification form and also found out that I needed a photo copy of the plates. Second trip, the boss who normally goes to DMV took the all the paperwork in but failed to leave it with them. He thought he was just getting me a moving permit. Ugghhhh. Third attempt, boss knows he is supposed to leave paperwork with DMV this time! I figure what could go wrong? He got back and still had paperwork. Double Ugghhh. I guess his wife figured they should take copys of everything just in case DMV loses originals. She made color copys. Bad thing. She confused the original pink with the copy and sent the wrong one. FINALLY hubby and I go this time! We finally got everything turned in and now the waiting begins!!!! All this just to try to keep the plates that came on the car originally!! I think DMV's law of having to get new plates is ridiculous! Specially when there is proof that the plates on the car were registered to the car before!
Also another peice of good news! We got the 77 Cruising Wagon officially in my name!!! That one went smoothly!! Yayyy!! ;D
Now if I can just get them both on the road! LOL :look:
Kim,
Sounds like you are on the right track. Just hang in there, and I'm sure it will all work out okay.
Dwayne
I told her it would! lol. JuJu works! ;D
I guess i am blessed as the little local tag and insurance shop in town just takes care of it no fuss or muss. of course i don't live in Cali or those states but illinois isn't much better......

Yah, I hope so too!! I know I hate dealing with a no title car! I told myself I would never by another car with not title! This one was to good of a deal to pass up though!!! :D
The Squire would not have been such a big deal if I didn't want to keep the original blue plates on it!! Still need to wait for DMV's decision on that though!
Good luck with yours Dave!!
