Just bought 4 outlaw 1 rims 14x7 what size tire do I need.Do not know the backspacing will they fit all the way around a 1979 pinto? Thanks for your help.I also own the 1979 Ford Pinto someone has up for sale on this site.It is not for Sale.
Hey this is Jake in Hauser. This may or may not help, i have 15x4 115/80 if that tells you how big you can go. They dont have any problems
im running a 235/60 14 on a 14 by 7 rim in the back and 185/70 in the front on a 6 inch rim
I've got 185/60/14 front and 215/75/14 rear on my Outlaws. No clearance issues, but there's probably 6-8 inches between the top of the front tire and fender, so you could go taller (or I could lower my car).
Cookie, where did you buy your rims?
Thanks, Robert
hi have 15 x 4 rims and 165 80R15's on the front and 15x7 4 1/2" backspace with 265 50R15's on the back... and have no rear clearnace issues. i had to gently roll the front fender edges in . cant really tell it. roy
