Would the back seat of an 80' pinto be compatible with the back seat of a 78' pinto. I have found interior from an 80', the front seats will fit into a 78' but I am not sure if the back seats would be the same. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated before i proceed to buy them.
Thanks
Ronnie
Hello all, I am asking again for your help in this matter. I have found front seats in great condition, the back seat is a fold down from an 80' model. I have a 78 sedan....I am curious, if the style is the same will it matter if its a fold down or not. the owner of this seat claims that the fold down will fit in his other car which is a wagon. So does anyone have any suggestions before I purchase it.
Thanks
Ronnie
if they are the same split design they should. the bottoms are split, the top is not. I have tried the 71-74 seats in a 75 but they done fit. the 78 rear seats that i got from a CW do tho. so you might get lucky and they fit. give it a try thats all i can say. I have 400 invested in seats atm lol.
I have the seats rDavis is after and just asking if the 75 u put these seats in a sedan, with out the fold down seat like rDavis', or a run-about with out the fold down seat.

I have the wagon. i got the seats from a 78 Cruisin wagon. along with some other stuff from that same wagon.
i dont know for sure if the sedan/trunk seats will work for 75-80 but im sure alot of that transfers as well.
