I am thinking of putting in a Chevrolet 383cid or a Ford 460cid. Chevy parts here are easier to find on the rock. May make a great wheel standing race car
I have a friend that has a 460 in his and it is an 8 sec car. of course he has a fiull frame under it. I understand that using a chevy small block because it cost and availablity but is just strikes me as wrong... :rolleye: yeah i know you got to do what you go to do.
jim
The sump is also on the wrong end.
Blasfemer!!!
I'll tell you what...I have a 75 wagon that is in good shape and I'd be willing to trade for a 73 just to keep it from getting butchered...if it is all original. The 75 suspension is a lot different from the 73. Easier to get parts for etc. and better for a V-8 conversion (heavier springs, drop spindles, and such). Just thinking out loud. I really like the 73's as you can tell :amazed:.
I was thinking about driving it over to your place to show it to you but the bridge isn't complete yet  and I don't think the ferry still runs there any more.

I wish there was a bridge, make life a lot easier. The ferry stoped because the local shipping company was crying about everything. ENVIROMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT not submitted......I dont think the Navy turns one in and they sail the 7 seas..... Now local company raise rates  you know what i say? :showback:
Thats the same awnser everyone gave me when I put in a 347 Ford Stroker in my Dodge Ram 50 to race it at the local track. fastest time 10.86 on motor alone, wonder what 250 shot of juice would do.....but expense does not warrant every run, tooooo many guys with electronics in the car. I like to race trying to put the pedal thru the floor and try to lean forward if I thought it would help go faster..... ;D
