Title: 75 pinto heater question

my 75 was a ac car and now has no underdash box at all. can i use a box from a non ac car without issue? i dont have heat and want it..... im also looking for a servicable box if this will work fine. so if anyone has one thats not in too bad  of shape let me know. if the heater core is bad thats ok as i plan to put a new core in anyhow. thanks steve.

Steve I have complete box with core that's like new for $75.00 + ship. Fred   :)

thanks fred, that sounds good.  im guessiing youre also saying a non  ac heater box will be fine in a ac car.

Do you need an AC box? I think I have a couple. I can check. I just wanted one as a spare but I swear I have...um... 2? maybe 3?

im not sure im going to do ac in the car. although i will be in the wagon my dad has when the time comes. im planning on using this though.

Amazing how much this box looks like the original Pinto dealer A/C box (which I have). My only criticism is the ROOM it takes up under the dash, it compromises your glove box and generally makes everything else hard to get at once it's in.

i have a lot of electronics in the glovebox now so its purpose is dedicated. as for the space under the dash ..... i drive from the left side... :D
