No stock specs, specifically, but a lot of info here: http://www.merkurencyclopedia.com/ (http://www.merkurencyclopedia.com/).  Click on "Cams" in the left-hand menu.  It seems to me that the Ranger cam is very similar to the Pinto cam.

Rick Byrnes is a Ford engineer who raced (drag and land speed) a Merkur, eventually setting a record for "production class" of over 200 mph at Bonneville.

The stock lift is .399, I don't have any duration specs but I do know that the Merkur and T/C turbo cams have different duration specs.

How about the stock lift on a Mustang roller cam? Or the ranger roller cams? If you swap the stock pinto cam for a roller cam, are you retaining the same specs?

Thanks! What impact is made when swapping the the two cams, if any? Would it be noticeable?

Dave, apart from the roller being more efficent I'm not sure if there is a noticeable gain in power. I know I have read on here of others doing the swap, maybe do a search and send a PM?

I did the swap on my 78's 2.3 this year. No difference aside from the thing starting a bit easier and the engine running a wee bit smoother. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to notice anything different though.
