Title: Starters and flywheels

is there a difference in the 2.0 and 2.3 pinto starters?  I need a starter for my race car using a 135 tooth flywheel.  Have heard that the 2.0 starter will work.  I know the 2.3's will not.

I have the 135 flywheel on my 75 and i am using a stock ford pinto starter.  Actually it is a rebuilt unit by a local business.  they rebuilt it and made improvements and only charged me $55.  I am using a C-3 auto trans.
