Title: What should I do? (mudflaps)
Post by: pintogirl on November 25, 2009, 05:42:22 PM
So after paying a fortune for my mudflaps, lol, I didn't really like the red Pinto word. I decided to paint them blue. I bought a handy Testor model paint pen and painted 2 blue so far.

My question is. Should I paint the other 2 blue too, or just keep them red? I could do the 2 blue in the back and the 2 red in the front. Going with the Red white and blue Pinto signiture theme!!

Here are some pics of both.

Close up of just the blue!

What do you all think?

Yah, I saw those! I have 2 stainless steel one's, but I kinda like the white plastic ones better, specially for the Ghost!! They will look better on the white car!!

If you Paint them the biggest color on the car and the car is more red than blue,,, then red is the color.. example #1,,   and if it is two tone accent and you do the smallest color that will make the small color stand out more examle #2  thats all i know hope it helps

Hmmm, The car is all white with brown interior! LOL Brown would not be a good option! LOL I went with all blue but you can see some of the red outline of the original red color. Looks pretty neat! They go on the car tomorrow!! Then I can start drivng it again! LOL

I too am looking for stainless mud flaps.I lost one of my rear ones.I put them on when I bought the car. They are stainless with a short rubber flap at the bottom.Does not have any writing on them , and the front ones are larger that the back ones.
