I have seen them all the time on ebay. you should be able to find them at the auto parts stores as well. They might just have to order it. The part number is E-1200

Got one for my wagon during the summer, took 3 days to get it from Auto Zone $48.00  Kinda expensive....but!  K&N website (www.knfilters.com (http://www.knfilters.com)) lists them at $42.64 plus shipping, r4pinto had the right part number E-1200. The website lists other applications, looks like about 40 cars, bobcats, mustangs, comets etc.

Thanks guys... I am talking about replacing the whole old funky air cleaner with a whole new
air cleaner.  Anybody did a conversion from 2 stud to 1 stud?

K&N makes an assembly to fit the holley/weber/motorcraft 5200 series. IIRC its about a 4 x 6 oval with 2 stud mount. Back in the day I made my own open element breather out of a couple street signs. It had NO PARKING on the top but worked. LOL. JT ;D

Good trick on using the street signs...  OR maybe a Ford sign, if I can find the right size.  I had even thought of using 2 pizza pans.  After I ate the pizza. :hypno:

Can I use this filter for 78 as well? Might be a stupid question, but I don't know if the air cleaner is of a different size for the 79 and 80 models.
