Title: Pinto roll bar
Post by: Pinto Pro on November 07, 2009, 03:08:47 AM
Does anyone know of a rollbar kit for a Pinto Runabout with provisions for swing out door bars??

Its time to finally install a cage/rollbar, but I dont want to crawl over a fixed bar to get in & out.

Swing outs sold separately. Some assembly required.

Let us know what kit you use and how it fit.

Point of reference.  I have the roll bar with the swing out bars.  Make sure the front of the down [swing arm] bars is as far forward as you can get it.  Sit in the seat and then try to exit to make sure before you final weld.

Ask me how I know????  It was in  my car when i got it.

Well I decided to order the kit from Autoweldchassis. Its features swing out side bars for easy in-out access.
