:accident: Hi guys I was wondering if there is a big brake kit for a 80 pinto( 5 lugs ) with stock suspension, Thank for your time.
I build street rods and have installed 40 or more Pinto/Mustang II front suspensions into a variety of early cars.
When building to Ford bolt pattern (5x4.5), I use kit AU-2045 from Chassis Engineering http://www.chassisengineeringinc.com/page79.html (http://www.chassisengineeringinc.com/page79.html) which uses Granada rotors & '80s Thunderbird/Mustang calipers. I then buy the rotors & calipers from local (real) parts stores and insist on North American made parts.
Mike
PS I practice what I preach: this is what I use on my own vehicles with 100k+ trouble-free miles.
