Title: Adding Sport Mirrors to a car?
Post by: TIGGER on November 08, 2004, 04:06:07 PM
I am looking to add sport mirrors to my 73 HB.  Does anyone have a source for the nuts that are pressed into the door?  The drivers side is fine.  It's the passenger side that I need the hardware for.  Any help would be appreciated.

Either that, or you could do what I'm gonna do.. use tapered head screws, and nuts on the inside of the door. They'll look factory, and don't cost much either.

I put Sport mirrors on my StangII. I used flathead allen bolts & locknuts. worked like a charm... just make sure you use the rubber gaskets they ARE important.
