everything is getting mocked up right now, after that I'll pull it out and paint the engine bay, wire it up for EFI and test drive it, after that I'll do the rear...

I haven't given an update in some time, so here's one, the pinto is up and running with an Electromotive TecGT ECU, not
Fully tuned and I have not back half'd the car yet, but at 13lbs boost the thing flat rips, I'm going to add more boost and do some fine tuning then throw it on the dyno and check number,

I put it on the dyno, the little pinto did ok, could not get it to hook on the dyno after 5k RPM, even with a guy sitting on the lip of the trunk, so the dyno really isn't truthful, it's low, 342 whp @ 6300rpm and 282 ft lbs @ 6300 rpm. now that I  have it tuned ok, I have to get after the suspension those little stock tires just aren't cutting it

Im impressed that the u joints took the stress if they are stockers. Thats 4 times the HP those were meant to handle & they are near 40 years old. Spinning the tires & then catching traction will usually chuck em. I cant wait to see it backhalved.

What can you tell me about the exhaust system on the car now? downpipe Size? Muffler? Etc

Dave I remember you, I bought motor mounts or an oil pan from you.
STR, I am using a 3" down pipe to a 3" flex joint, (to help keep the header from cracking) and a Magnaflow 3" oval race muffler dumped before the rear end, I also have the wastegate piped into the down piep, (I know it cost some HP but I didn't want the loud/open wategate sound.

That would be me! :) Looks like those mounts are working well for you! :)

After we met at McDonalds I was backing out of my parking space and a guy in a Rodeo backed into me and left a good size dent in the rear right quarter panel. :(

There are two Mustang II's out at Jalopy Jungle with a lot of parts still on them, as well as a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe if you are still looking for parts.
