I got a offy 360 dual-port intake for my 2.3 and i don't know what the flat area is on the back side of the intake. It has 4 bolt holes that are threaded and i don't know what goes there.

The side opposite the head surface? The plate for the heater or water bypass hoses. You have to use one off a factory manifold. JT
