I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to request this, but here goes. A few months ago, a gentleman in SE Texas (not sure of this location) listed a nice Pinto panel wagon for sale. I remember it had been painted silver, was lowered (maybe had a Mustang 8.8 under it), and looked quite clean. I remember he said the engine was bad, but I don't remember if he said anything more about it.
I also think he mentioned that his health was forcing the sale of the car.
I know someone who might be interested in a project like this, but I need to see if the car is still available. I know it's not listed anymore, so if anyone recalls the gentleman's name, or if you are this gentleman, please contact me, preferably by email or phone. paulramsey@suddenlink.net or 325-942-9111.
Thanks! Paul (Cossiepinto)
Could you have seen it on Ebay? Sounds like one I saw there recently.

Thanks, Lugnut, but I'm sure I saw it here. He may have listed and sold it on Ebay after not having any luck here, though. Sure wish I'd have acted on the thing before now!

Pretty sure I saved the pictures from this site. However, they are internally dated (incorrectly?) as 7/27/2002. I think that this one occasionally shows up in the left hand column "classified ads".

The one pictured above is here: http://www.fordpinto.com/index.php/topic,11453.0.html (http://www.fordpinto.com/index.php/topic,11453.0.html) - unfortunately, internal links are redirected to the main page. Search "silver panel" - it's the first result.

Yep, that's the car. I was able to follow the links and find two email addresses for the seller. I sent to both and now will just wait to see if he responds. If anyone has spoken to him, however, and has a phone number or name/location, I'd still like to try to call him.
Thanks everyone.

Paul,I spoke to the owner myself sometime ago,he told me it was sold. I didn't call him back to find out if it fell through or not. It is a sweet wagon none the less.
Paul
Thanks, Paul.
I reckon that'll be one of the "ones that got away". I didn't ever hear from him, so I guessed as much. Thanks to everyone for checking back and helping me give it a try anyway. Paul, if you do know him or have correct contact info, I might still give him a call just to see (I hate giving up!).

Paul:
Really wish I could help, back when I was looking for a car I was actively talking to the owner, and had all his contact info. A few months back I was "cleaning house" in my mail and I erased all of the messages with any reference to that car. I just looked in there twice, there is nothing left. Sorry!
Chris
No problem, you're probably right that is was sold. It's already filed in my "ones-that-got-away" folder.
Thanks again, Paul
