i know this is a pinto website but im working on my mustang, and putting in a new shifter and shifter cable the trans i got is out of a colum hifter and i have a floor shifter, im looking for the part number or if someone has the part im looking for, its the shaft that is in the transmission that the cable bolts to, the one i have is way to far SO ITS WRONG, and went to a trans shop and was told there is 15 different ones. so if you know the part or have it please let me know!!

what year of ford mustang are you working on.

manual control lever part# E4ZZ7A256A sells for $210.42 @ the Ford Dealer. Fits 81-93 mustang & 81-86 mercury capri with AOD trans.
